How to make Turkish cream and nuts filled this delicious baklava.. Not so hard but so yummy..
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup plain Turkish yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp apple or grape vinegar
about 2+1/2 to 3 cups all purpose flour
for rolling the sheets about 2 cups wheat or corn starch
for the cream filling:
1 tbsp sugar
2+1/2 tbsp semolina flour
1 tbsp corn or wheat starch
about 1+1/2 cup or little more milk
1 tsp vanilla
also about 1 cup nuts of your choice (piece or coarsely grounded) (hazelnut, walnut or grounded pistachio nuts)
125gr. unsalted butter
1/3 cup vegetable oil (sunflower, corn, hazelnut etc. (don’t use olive oil because it has flavor) )
for the simple syrup:
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
