Prince Fish with Asparagus and White Sauce is a traditional Norwegian Cod Fish Dinner. This is special dish was created when a Swedish Prince visited the city Bergen many years ago. The Swedish Prince wanted cod for dinner, and the dish was made for him.

Prince Fish Recipe
1/2 lb cod (or halibut)
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of salt

White Sauce Ingredients
1/2 cup fish stock
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1/3 cup flour
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 egg yolk
1/2 lemon
optional 1/4 cup of sherry
salt and black pepper

8 asparagus spears
garnish 1/4 cup peeled shrimp
fresh parsley, to garnish
