Chinese Spicy Tofu Curry (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe)

Welcome to Chinese Cooking. My name is Xiao Wei, even at a early age I have always had a strong passion for Cooking. My family still live in northern Chinese, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes.

Ingredients:
400g Tofu
10g Ginger
40g Garden Peas
2 Red Chillies
15g Curry Powder
5ml Light Soy Sauce
Small Bunch Coriander
1 Spring Onion
1 Tsp Cornflour and
50ml Water Mixture
400ml Chicken or Vegetable Stock
Salt to Taste

Method:
1. Chop the ginger & chillies
2. Roughly chop the spring onion & coriander
3. Cut the tofu into 1cm cubes
4. Boil 300ml water in the pan and boil garden peas for 2 minutes, remove from pan and drain
5. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in the wok and fry tofu on medium heat till golden. Remove tofu from wok
6. Add ginger and chillies into the wok and fry for 10 – 20 seconds on medium heat
7. Pour in the stock, add the garden peas and tofu. Turn heat to high and bring to the boil
8. Once starts to boil, add salt, soy sauce, curry powder and stir
9. Add the cornflour mixture & stir, bring back to boil
10. Garnish with the chopped coriander & spring onion
11. Transfer onto a dish and serve
